Here’s pics crossing the equator January 22, 1967. Latitude 0000 and Longitude 107 deg. 059 min. E. Southeast of Singapore, between Malaysia on the west and Indonesia on the east. We were returning to the states from Westpac.

Robert says: “I was assigned to 3 Alpha boiler room. Here are pictures taken down 3 Alpha boiler room during VietNam cruise. The boiler was down for maintenance during a port stop at Subic Bay, Philippines. We had to go into fire box to scrape and wire brush steam tubes and to go into steam drum to punch steam tubes with rotating wire brushes. It was hot work and there were a lot of tubes. “
