TO ALL WHO SAILED ABOARD THE ROSIE
Shipmates,
Since the start of the Film to Video project in 2008, I’ve managed to complete 16 Cruise Videos. We now have videos from every cruise since the Rosie was re-commissioned in 1956 after the angle flight deck was added to the ship in Bremerton. Over 50 shipmates have contributed film that has been converted to digital and made into videos that many of you have enjoyed. I hope that everyone realizes that without these videos, that part of your history and your memories would have been lost to you, your family and future generations.
The 1967/68, 1970 & 1971 Med Cruise demo clips have good examples of the sound that’s found on all the full length videos.
